| Eligibility: SSB Latest & Upcoming Recruitment 2026 1. Constable Posts Constable (Driver - Male Only): Matriculation (10th Class pass) from a recognized board. Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. Constable (Veterinary): Matriculation (10th Class pass) with Science as a main subject from a recognized board. Constable (Tradesmen - Cook, Washerman, Barber, Carpenter, Tailor, Cobbler, Gardener, Waiter): Matriculation (10th Class pass) from a recognized board. Must have one of the following: 2 years of work experience in the respective trade. 1-year certificate from a recognized ITI/Vocational Institute with at least 1 year of experience in the trade. 2-year ITI Diploma in the respective trade. 2. Head Constable (HC) Posts Head Constable (Communication): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board. OR A 3-year Diploma in Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science. Head Constable (Veterinary): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Science and Biology as main subjects. Must possess a 2-year Diploma Course in Veterinary and Livestock Development, Veterinary Stock Assistant, or Animal Husbandry. Head Constable (Electrician): Matriculation (10th Class pass) from a recognized board. 2-year ITI Certificate in the Electrician trade. At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Head Constable (Steward): Intermediate (12th Class pass) from a recognized board. Diploma in Catering and Kitchen Management (minimum 2 years). At least 1 year of working experience as a Steward in a minimum 100-bedded recognized hospital/institution. 3. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Posts ASI (Pharmacist): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Science. Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act. ASI (Radiographer): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Science. 2-year Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology or Radiography. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. ASI (Operation Theatre & Dental Technician): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Science. 2-year Diploma in the respective field (OT or Dental Technician). Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. 4. Sub-Inspector (SI) Posts Sub-Inspector (Communication): Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Information Technology Engineering. OR A Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Sub-Inspector (Pioneer): Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse - Female Only): Intermediate (12th Class pass) with Science. 3-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Must be registered with the Central or State Nursing Council. |
